North Harvest CSA is a small, sustainably run family farm in Calumet, MI, known for their naturally fermented sourdough made with simple ingredients and baked fresh on the farm. Their breads are slow-fermented for great flavor and easier digestion, with seasonal varieties available when possible.

To participate, place your order through the North Harvest CSA website by Wednesday, 2/3/26 at 12:00 AM. Orders close at midnight so they can bake everything fresh for pickup on Friday.

Celebrate Heikinpäivä with us at Small Craft & Takka with cozy vibes, special cocktails, and winter traditions all weekend long.

• Rescheduled to Feb 7 – Polar Plunge (1–3 PM)
  After nearly a decade, the Polar Plunge returns. Take part in this bold winter tradition with an icy dip along the Hancock Boardwalk, followed by free short sauna sessions to warm up and reset. There’s no fee to participate, though a $5 donation is encouraged. Whether you plunge or cheer from the sidelines, expect a lively winter gathering by the canal.

  Bosio Biscuits will be rolling in during the afternoon, serving up irresistible yums throughout a full day of Heikinpäivä festivities!

  Get a feel for the quirky winter sport of curling during this interactive demo led by Drew Grohowski of Copper Country Curling. Learn the basics, hear a few stories, try your hand at sweeping, and share a few smiles along the way.

  Warm up with Bierstacheln, a cozy German tradition where a hot iron is dipped into your beer, creating a lightly caramelized, toasty sip that’s perfect for winter afternoons.

Fitz + Football

There’s watching the Super Bowl at home… and then there’s watching it waterside with a good drink in hand and some deliciously good food with no dishes to do after. That’s the plan at Small Craft.

We’re settling in for the whole game, kickoff to final whistle, with The Fitz slinging food from 5:00–8:30 PM (or until sold out). Expect their classic brisket and a side, plus a few extra food options from us throughout the night. Come early, eat first, grab a drink, and get comfortable.

Kickoff is at 6:30 PM and we're staying open late so there’s no rush—just hang, cheer, groan (or giggle) at the commercials, and join us for the game.
