Looking for a one-of-a-kind venue right on the Portage Canal? Whether you're celebrating a wedding, birthday, retirement, reunion—or just want an excuse to gather your favorite people—Small Craft offers flexible indoor and outdoor spaces designed to help you celebrate without the stress.

We’re not a banquet hall, and we don’t do stuffy. What we do is laid-back, beautiful, memorable.

Our Spaces

Small Craft offers two unique spaces you can rent individually or together—each with unbeatable views of the Lift Bridge and plenty of room to make it your own. Whether you’re planning a cozy gathering or a full-scale celebration, we’ll help you find the setup that fits.

The Flybridge

Private or semi-private indoor rental

Our upstairs delivers cozy vibes and panoramic views of the Lift Bridge and Portage Canal. It includes restrooms, a 37-foot-long bar, lounge-style seating, and an outdoor deck. Perfect for cocktail hours, rehearsal dinners, team retreats, or intimate receptions.

3 hour event minimum, starting at $450. 

Hosts up to 75 guests.

The PAVILLION

Our 2,000 sq. ft. covered pavilion delivers open-air energy and plenty of space for mingling, dancing, or family-style dining. Outdoor bar service, sunshine, and room to spread out. Perfect for large gatherings, casual weddings, or community events.

3 hour event minimum, starting at $750.

Hosts up to 100 guests.

Weddings & Bigger Groups

Hosting 100+ people and exclusive access to both spaces? We can make it happen. Combined rentals of the Flybridge + Pavilion are available—just ask. Starting at $1,500.


Smaller Gatherings

Not every party needs the whole place. We offer hourly rentals for small groups—ideal for birthday parties, bridal showers, team meetups, or casual celebrations.

Midweek Rentals

Midweek rentals will be less costly. We build in time for you to get settled and wrap up—no scramble required. Just note: there's a 3-hour minimum for all rentals.

Add-Ons & Upgrades

Looking to level up your event? We offer optional extras that make the experience even better:

  • Additional Setup Time

  • Audio/Visual Equipment + DJ Setup

  • Optional Cleaning Service — Leave the cleanup to us

  • Bar Service — Typically a $1,000 deposit for all private events.

  • Wellness Sessions at Takka Portage— Treat your group to a private sauna experience right on the canal, just a short walk away.
